For both POCs I followed the same design process: together with the team we came up with an initial low-fidelity iteration, which was used to design the first prototype. I then interviewed stakeholders, including the sales team, to validate the design and improve it based on their feedback.

Digital Identity Verification for Students Purchasing Insurance
The first POC was a mobile website where a student could purchase their own insurance and verify their identity online.
Target audience: student health insurance company.
The goal: show potential clients how implementing Verified.Me could help safely streamline their customer’s identity verification online.
The solution: a web-based user flow for a generic insurance company that our sales team can use to show how potential clients could include this solution in their online sign-up flow.
The Verified.Me app would gather the student’s personal information and securely share it with the insurance company to verify their identity online.
Digital Identity Verification for Business Owners Requesting Insurance Certificate
The second POC consisted of a generic insurance mobile app where a business owner (such as a contractor) could request their own proof of insurance online.
Target audience: business owners
The goal: show potential clients how implementing Verified.Me could help streamline the insurance certificate process.
The solution: a mobile app flow for a generic insurance company that our sales team can use to show how insurance customers can request and receive an insurance certificate online.
The Verified.Me app would gather the business owner’s personal information and securely share it with the insurance company to verify if their current coverage is sufficient for a specific vendor. If the business owner did have enough coverage, they would be able to receive a certificate through email. If they didn’t it would prompt them to purchase additional coverage.
